Currently, we are living life along the Chattahoochee River, and yes it gets hotter than a.. well, I'm sure you know how the song goes. As a military family, we get to experience new places and faces often! My kids have been my inspiration since day one, if you are a mother then you understand wanting to savor every tiny moment of their childhood, and photography has allowed me to do that. Where would I be without the 2,000 (and always growing) photos of their chubby cheeks, dirty toes, new creations, maniacal laughter, and occasional funny cry faces (you know exactly what I mean there!!) 

Real talk, I wasn't one of those people who "always knew they wanted to be a photographer." I always thought I would work with animals, to be honest, and even in my high school photography class, I scraped by with an average grade, and no interest to pursue it further. It wasn't until I was lost in the thick of motherhood, with two babies under two, that I realized I needed something for myself. That is when I fell headfirst into photography, and unexpectedly, found myself. I owe a lot to my sweet husband, who took my 'wild idea' and encouraged me to run with it. In fact, he was the one who actually taught me how to use a camera and shoot in manual. Forever thankful for his endless support! I have been called an 'old soul' for most of my life, and I never really felt that way about myself until I got behind the lens. I know this is my calling, I love seeing people for who they are, telling their stories, and showing them how beautiful and magical they are.
